Member Testimonials
I was lost mentally, and I needed a community, particularly a community of open-minded, caring women. I found that in Women In Harmony. When I was first introduced to the chorus, I had such a hard time feeling like I belonged anywhere, but I quickly realized that I belonged with WIH, the wonderful women, and the wonderful community they have built. Only a short year later, I am thriving, and I owe a huge thank you to the Women In Harmony for providing a safe, warm, beautiful community of wonderful women celebrating women with our harmony and our friendship.
Martina
I joined Women In Harmony 16 years ago. I wanted to sing with an organized group but did not read music. No problem. Naomi (Director) does learning tracks. I liked to harmonize, no problem. I now sing "Bari" with the chorus. I also decided to push my fear and now sing in a quartet! I like to help organize projects, now I am on the executive and assist with different projects. I am proud to be part of the organization. Women in Harmony has welcomed me in so many ways. Friends who are very much a part of my life. Come give us a visit.
Sharon
As a member who needs lots of direction, I truly appreciate all the work we do to get our songs up and running. Most of all, my singing partners are special friends.
Carla
I joined Women in Harmony in 2023 and instantly enjoyed the friendships and connections with others. The music is fun, and I would recommend this group to any woman who loves to sing. Come check us out!

What to Expect
Joining Women in Harmony is easy and welcoming; no auditions or prior musical experience are required! We rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
Our music is four-part a cappella in the barbershop style, and we perform everything from musicals to Beatles tunes and favorite classics. Don’t worry if you can’t read music! We provide learning tracks for every song, with options to hear your part alone, your part highlighted, or the full harmony. Songs are learned in sectionals, then brought together as a full chorus.
Each spring, we host a Find Your Voice event for prospective members, where you can try singing with us, learn about barbershop style, and see our chorus in action. We would also love to have you visit a rehearsal to see if Women in Harmony is the right fit for you any time.
